Blogging

Well I think blogging is a big waste of time because we have to finish our game. Our presentations have to be ready to present there really is'nt any time to do blogging I do think that the learning logs are ok but just don't forget to do theme because it's really hard to remeber what you did four or five dys ago. But deffinately blogging should have a requirement of four to six a month. And then after that any information blogs a paragraph or longer extra credit.

Presentation of my Game

Well right now I am really trying to complete game we do have something to prsent but I have took steps into getting ready for my presentation. But the most important thing is to complete my game. The presentation should be fairly easy to do. I know I really like doing power points so this will be pretty easy to do. But I will have it ready for presentation. And it will be a very succesful presentation and very interesting.

Mine Disaster

This has probably been the worst days in my life. Monday evening while watching Tv a news channel put out breaking news of a mine explosion. So I watched as family members showed up to the site of the mine to try and figure out about there loved ones. If they were alright or what was going on. And it broke my heart to see people on the news that had lost a family member. As I continued to watch the tv. I started seeing familiar faces. By the time I figured that out I had got a call that it was indeed my family members. There was five of my family members in that mine. But then news started getting better as we were told that two of my family members made it out just before the accident had occurred. As the night had went on I stayed up all night Monday night. Then at about 4:45 we got the call that they had found our other three family members in the mine together. So just one accident like this took three of my family members lives. Which includes Timmy,Cory,and Josh. Timmy was Cory's uncle and Josh was his cousin. The ones who made it out was Cory's dad Tommy and Timmy's boy Cody. Just watching the tv earlier just not knowing what it must be like to lose a family member when it was three of my own. R.I.P Big Tim,Cory,and Joshy.

Interaction

I guess I do in a way like working with flash but I really wanted to do photoshop. But you know this is just totally different than I have every done and it is a big challenge. It is very time consuming. But its something new so I wouldnt care to try this out. But it is very neat.

Sound

Sound will make agame very intresting. If a game did not have sound it would probally be boring. Just imagine your life with out sound. Just as I said about animation it brings the game is to life. A game with good music draws attention which would draw in more players. It is hard to find sounds online because most you have to purchase. But most sounds have to go along with code so when something occurs you will hear a noise. So I will be looking and installing sound on my game.

Animation

The coolest thing about animation is just seeing a character comeing to life. It's crazy to see your work come to life. It would be boring for your character to stay in one place or just glide across the screen.
In games its crazy how they have facial animation just all parts of the character is animated.

Frames and Keyframes

Frames and key frames is a way to move a selected object so you animate theme. This is probally what we are going to move are characters around and such. So these two things are what we are going to use to make things animated. There is a difference of the two and its the starting point and final moving point.

Today I have to blog on someones blog and I chose PJ's Blogs he really does keep up with his blog and he really gives all things asked for that day. He post pictures and all the information that is needed. Well I really hope he keeps up the good work and continues to keep his blog up.

Game Progress

The game is coming along great and we are now ready to video our papertype. This game is going to be great and a long progress. A good game takes time.

Game TOPIC

My topic is focusing on health and basically obesity. This is world wide spreaded problem. And this is something that needs to be brought to attention and looked at because of all the overweight people that need facts about this topic. They need facts that will help theme live a healthy life . But it does need brought to attention and this is one the ways to bring this to attention. I have seen many games showing many health facts. But I think that my game will be about obesity.

One of the games I played was Stop Disasters which was a very well thought through game. Which includes alot of imformation about many ways to save an community. The informattion it gives is about real stuff that can be applied to a house to save it from being destroyed.

The other game I really enjoyed was Sept. 12th which really has a true meaning about the game. It is really a never ending war. And many innocent people lose there lifes. So it shows that we dont get only the targeted but the ones around.

So both these games were very learning and highly detailed with instructions.
